Arriving and Checking-in at MCPHS

Welcome International Students to MCPHS!

The Immigration & International Support Services team provides immigration advising and assistance to International Students both before and after their arrival in the U.S. We are here to assist International Students in obtaining and maintaining proper legal Immigration Status while attending MCPHS.

Getting Started: Immigration Check-in

All new International Students (including those coming from high school, an English Language Program, or another college/university) must attend the F-1 International Student Immigration Orientation (this is in addition to the regular MCPHS new student orientation), and complete your SEVIS check-in with the Immigration Services Office, IISS, when first arriving to campus so we may ensure that all relevant documents and procedures have been processed and that you have been properly admitted to the U.S.  Immigration and International Support Services will conduct virtual check-ins via global.mcphs.edu

IISS will email you this closer to the start of the semester. You will complete your SEVIS Check-in via global.mcphs.edu and you will log-in with your MCPHS credentials to do this. When you complete your SEVIS check-in, IISS will review your immigration documents, perform your initial SEVIS Registration (only for F-1 Students).

Failure to SEVIS check-in with the Immigration Services Office may jeopardize your Immigration Status in the U.S., so please prioritize completing your Initial SEVIS Check-In after arriving in the United States. We will talk about this more at the F-1 International Student Immigration Orientation.
